(KMOV) – A brother and sister faces charges after police they worked together to break into several Fenton homes and steal thousands of dollars worth of goods late last year.
Jacob Eschbach, 17, was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and stealing over $500. His sister, 19-year-old Courtney Eschbach, was charged with second-degree burglary and stealing over $500.
According to court documents, Jacob Eschbach broke into a home in the 1000 block of Brander Mill Ct. on Oct. 17 and took a 58-inch television worth at least $500. Authorities say his sister later pawned the item.
Police say both Jacob and Courtney then broke into the same house on Nov. 18 and took several items, including a video game console, a television, a laptop and several pieces of jewelry.
They are also believed to be connected to at least seven other home break-ins within a one-mile radius.
Authorities say the stolen items were approximately worth $15,000 to $20,000.
