(KMOV) – A man has now been charged for an alleged carjacking inside the Lumiere Place Casino parking garage.

Brandon Harris, 21, is charged with First Degree Robbery and Armed Criminal Action.

He is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.

The incident happened around midnight Wednesday on the 4th floor of the garage.  Investigators say Harris pointed a gun at the victim and stole his Mercedes-Benz.

A man in a second car, described as a black Pontiac, followed the stolen car out of the parking garage. That suspect is still on the loose.

Police believe they know the identity of the second suspect and are attempting to locate him.

The victim was not hurt.

News 4 went to the Lumiere garage and did see security frequently patrolling the building. Security cameras are also placed around the parking garage.

Sources say that one of the security cameras captured the carjacking and may have aided in tracking down one of the suspects.

This is a big change from two years ago when police say there were no cameras on the fourth level and at least seven cars were vandalized and broken into during the New Year’s holiday.

The victim’s vehicle has not yet been found.
