(KMOV) – A St. Louis man suspected of murder was arrested at the Greyhound bus station downtown Tuesday morning.
The suspect, Dontaye Henderson, was being tracked by California’s Oceanside Police Department as he traveled on a bus en route to St. Louis, Oceanside officials say.
Oceanside detectives say they worked with St. Louis authorities to arrest Henderson as he changed buses at a Greyhound terminal.
Henderson is being held on a warrant for his arrest issued for kidnapping and murder.
Henderson is accused of shooting and killing his 25-year-old wife in her apartment on January 1.
The kidnapping charge comes from Henderson allegedly forcing a person to drive him out of the California county.
Police say Henderson was in possession of a handgun at the time of his arrest.
