(KMOV)-- Representatives with FEMA are touring the St. Louis area Tuesday, looking over storm damage from the New Year’s Eve tornadoes.
They went to the 4500 block of Lewis Place in north St. Louis this morning.
One resident in the historic neighborhood says nearly every home on the block suffered some kind of damage. Many of the homes lost roofs.
A FEMA spokesperson says there is no word right now on when money might be available for storm victims, and what amount.
FEMA says there is not a disaster declaration at this time. They are assessing the situation to determine what kind of aid would be available.
After the stop in north St. Louis, FEMA headed to Sunset Hills in south county.
