Soulard Mardi Gras - Twelfth Night. The Board of Directors accept petitions from various civic, business and neighborhood leaders requesting them to declare the new Mardi Gras season. Join us on the front steps of Johnny's to hear the reading of the proclamation. A musical procession will then wind through the neighborhood, ending at the corner of 7th and Soulard, where the Soulard Mardi Gras flag will rise and fireworks will signal the official start of the Mardi Gras season in Soulard.

Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra presents Circus Flora - The Floating Palace. Powell Symphony Hall in Grand Center-718 North Grand Boulevard. Inspired by Spalding and Rogers 1850's Floating Palace touring the Mississippi River, it's a wild adventure complete with pirate attacks, spies, mistaken identity and forbidden romance. Set in St. Louis during the time of the Western Expansion it celebrates life at the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers.
