(KMOV) -- Authorities with the Division of Drug and Crime Control announced Tuesday developments in the Bonne Terre shooting rampage that left 5 people dead last month.

Investigators now confirm a connection between the November 30, 2010, triple murder, suicide in Bonne Terre and the murder of Erica Wade in Washington County.

The investigation connects the shooter in the Bonne Terre rampage as the suspect in the murder of Erica Wade. The link is a result of DNA testing conducted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Crime Laboratory Division and telephone records.

Authorities say there is no evidence to suggest anyone other than the alleged shooter, Nathan Fortner, was involved in the crimes.

Investigators continue to examine evidence and follow leads in the case.

Anyone with information about the crimes is urged to contact one of the investigating agencies.
