ST. LOUIS (KMOV) - A car crashed into a United States Post Office in south St. Louis city Friday morning.
According to police, the vehicle crashed into the Gravois Post Office around 8 a.m. at the corner of Taft and Ridgewood. Officials said there was a lot of glass scattered in the building and some water pipes sustained damage.
A post office representative said mail delivery will not be affected, but customers with P.O. boxes will not be able to acces their mail until further notice.
Police are trying to determine how the driver lost control of the vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
