ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – A man’s dead body was found inside a parked SUV at a south St. Louis gas station at Kingshighway and Southwest on Thursday, officials say.
According to police, the death does not appear to be a homicide or suicide. They say it may be a possible heat-related death or a death that happened as a result of a medical condition.
Officials say one of the vehicle's window was partially open and the engine was not running when the man was found. Beer bottles were found in the vehicle.
Police say the SUV has been at the gas station since Wednesday night, but the driver was spotted walking in the neighborhood on Thursday morning.
