CAHOKIA, Ill. (KMOV) – In Cahokia, Illinois, the pilot of a small plane says his landing gear wasn’t working, so he had to crash land at the St. Louis Downtown Airport on Thursday. The pilot radioed the tower and said he would have to make a belly landing. Rescuers gathered on the runway to watch the plane come in. The pilot was the only one aboard. He was not injured.
