ST. CHARLES, Mo., (KMOV) – A St. Charles bank robber didn’t make it far before being arrested Thursday.
The suspect of a robbery at the Regions Bank in the 2200 block of Elm St., was arrested one block north of the bank he tried robbing.
St. Charles police responded to a bank robbery in progress at the bank at 10:24 a.m. Thursday morning. According to police the suspect passed a note to the bank teller without displaying a weapon then fled the bank on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held pending application of warrants.
