(KMOV) – The St. Charles Fire Department is having a benefit fundraiser for the family of Dominic Zwilling.
Dominic Zwilling was the only survivor of a fatal fire in St. Charles that killed four members of his family on August 16.
All proceeds raised during the BBQ will benefit the family of Dominic Zwilling.
WHO: The entire St. Charles area community is invited to participate in a fund-raiser hosted by the city’s Fire Department in support of Dominic Zwilling. A memorial service for the family – mother Lauren Zwilling, 30, step father Cameron Gresham, 27, and siblings Quentin Gresham, 8, and Maren Gresham, 2 – was held at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles on Tuesday. The four died from injuries sustained in a fire at their home on Tues., Aug. 16. Dominic, 11, was the only survivor.
WHAT: The event will include a barbeque held on the property of Mid-Towne IGA. In addition, members of the St. Charles Fire Department will host a “fill the boot” opportunity for anyone wanting to make a financial contribution to the family (at the intersection of Elm and Hawthorn).
