(KMOV) – A 37-year-old Desloge police officer remains on the job after he allegedly got caught driving drunk on Friday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Officer John Upchurch was driving in Stoddard County around 11:15 p.m. when he was pulled over.
Police said he was taken into custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.
According to city administrator Greg Camp, Upchurch was still working Monday and has not been suspended.
Upchurch has been with the Desloge Police Department since 2006.
