Teen charged in connection to armed robbery of local Dominos delivery driver

(KMOV) – Police have charged a second suspect for an armed robbery of a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver in Spanish Lake in May. 

Joey Hale, 18, was charged with first-degree robbery on Tuesday. Another suspect, Ava Jackson, 20, was charged Friday with first-degree robbery.

According to police, the victim was outside of his vehicle at an apartment complex near Vodge and Spanish Pond around 10:30 p.m. Monday, May 27 when Hale, Jackson and another suspect emerged from nearby bushes.

Police said the suspects then robbed the driver before fleeing the scene. The driver told police Jackson had an assault rifle that looked like an AK-47 and the other had a revolver.

Authorities said they later apprehended Hale and Jackson, who also placed the order.

Police said they are still looking for another person wanted in connection with the incident.
