(KMOV.com) – Some St. Louis-area schools were forced to cancel classes on Monday, three days after multiple tornadoes swept through the region.
All activities in the Riverview Gardens School District were cancelled.
Kratz Elementary in the Ritenour School District was also closed. School officials said because it is the last day of school, there will be no make-up date. All other schools in the Ritenour School District will be open and operating on a regular schedule.
In Ferguson, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta was also closed because of no power.
Summer classes at McCluer High School and Johnson-Wabash Elementary in the Ferguson-Florissant School District were cancelled Monday. Classes there were expected to resume at temporary locations on Tuesday.
