(KMOV) – One man is dead, and his brother wounded after they were shot during a robbery at a convenience store in south St. Louis on Friday.

Police said the incident happened at the Quick Stop near the intersection of Chippewa and Alfred around 11:30 a.m.

According to police, a man shot the two brothers while robbing the convenience store.

Haris Gogic, 19, was shot in the head. He was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The other brother was hit in the arm, and his injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Police described the suspect as a black male with dark complexion, a slim build and standing approximately 6 feet tall. The suspect was also described as having a mustache and goatee.
