Teen charged after allegedly robbing Metrolink rider in Washington Park

 (KMOV) – A teen has been caught after he allegedly robbed a Metrolink train rider near the Washington Park station on Tuesday.  

According to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department, Kevin Bradley, 17, is accused of stealing a cell phone, credit card and driver’s license from a woman riding the Metrolink train around 11 a.m.  

Bradley then sprinted from the train as it came to a stop. Platform security witnessed him running from the Washington Park station towards 54th street in East St. Louis.

Officers arrived on scene and began a perimeter search, locating Bradley a short time later.

He was taken into custody and the stolen items were found.

Illinois State’s Attorney Brendan Kelley charged Kevin Bradley with felony robbery.

He is being held on a $75,000 bond at the St. Clair County Jail.
