(KMOV) – Authorities have filed charges against three St. Louis County men who were arrested following a home invasion that occurred in South County on Friday.
The charges were issued after the three suspects were arrested following a home invasion in the 3600 block of Buckley Road in South County, where a resident was robbed at gunpoint inside his home.
Adis Mujakic, 19, and Abbas Khliqad, 17 were charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, and armed criminal action on Saturday, May 25 by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
A third juvenile subject was also arrested and similarly charged.
Police responded to a trespassing in progress call at the address where witnesses reported seeing three white males wearing gloves enter the residence.
The suspects reportedly entered the home, showed their weapons, and proceeded to steal cash and other items before quickly leaving the scene.
Information gathered from witnesses led officers to a nearby apartment complex where the three suspects were arrested.
The St. Louis County Police Department is still seeking information related to similar incidents in the 5400 block of Milburn Road on April 19, 2013 and 13500 Wynston Trace Court on May 5, 2013.
