(KMOV.com) – When News 4 first introduced you to Kevin Parker of St. John in January, things were a mess.
His yard was dug up, jagged rebar exposed and there was a gaping hole in his basement wall.
Kevin had paid contractor Brian Ecker $15,000 to build a wheelchair ramp and entry so Parker could take shelter during severe weather.
Ecker kept promising to do the work, but as we showed you, he didn’t.
A job that should have taken a few weeks is finally finished after eight months. As News 4’s Mike Colombo reports, it’s all thanks to a big helping hand from some strangers.
