(KMOV.com) – Authorities are offering a reward in the death of a woman gunned down inside her home in an apparent drive-by shooting in north St. Louis County on May 21.

According to police, 22-year-old Patricia Singleton was shot just before midnight in the 2100 block of Chambers near Nolte. Other people were also in the house but they were not injured.

EMS workers said Singleton was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police at the scene said the shooting appeared to be a drive-by because they found multiple gun shells outside the victim’s home. Police said they believe the shots were fired from the driveway.

Authorities said they do not know the motive in the shooting and have no one in custody.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest in Singleton’s murder.

Anyone with details on the incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS or the St. Louis County Police Department at 314-615-8627.
