(KMOV) – The Oklahoma tornado was on the ground for about 40 minutes. The 200 mph winds shredded 17 sq. miles and killed 24 people including nine children.
Justin Laramie and his pregnant wife moved from St. Louis to Oklahoma City in 2011. Their home was a total loss after Monday’s tornado tore through.
Neither Justin nor his wife was home when the tornado hit and News 4's Chris Nagus was there when they returned home for the first time to salvage their belongings on Tuesday.
