Police: Restaurant Depot on Manchester robbed

(KMOV.com) -- Police are investigating a call of a robbery at the Restaurant Depot on Manchester Avenue in St. Louis City.

According to reports, four black males, wearing white masks and gloves, entered the Restaurant Depot at 6455 Manchester on the afternoon of September 8 around 3:40 p.m. The suspects forced all store employees to the floor prior to breaking into the cash room and taking the money from a safe. Reports indicate that the safe was closed but unlocked at the time of the robbery.

Police say that the suspects proceeded to take cell phones and wallets from the Depot’s employees.

The only injury mentioned in reports was to a store customer who was pistol whipped by one suspect. The customer suffered a minor laceration. Further details on the victim have not been made available.

Investigators believe the four suspects fled from the scene in a silver Chevrolet Impala.
