(KMOV) – A woman faces charges after she allegedly stole more than $2,000 worth of jeans from the Buckle store inside South County Center in late July.
Jasmine Bolen, 20, was charged Aug. 28 with felony stealing over $500.
According to court documents, Bolen and an unknown suspect walked into the store on July 23 and grabbed several pairs of jeans from a display table.
Witnesses said they didn’t try to pay for them and walked right out of the store.
According to police, Bolen dropped her mobile phone as she was getting into her car to drive away. Police used that to trace Bolen and she was arrested.
She later told police she had only taken three pairs, though an inventory count showed she had taken 14 pairs worth $2,012.
