(KMOV) – Several fundraisers will be held for a 13-year-old girl who survived a South County house fire that took the lives of her sister, father and great-grandmother.

The Mehlville Fire Department and St. Louis County police will host a barbecue luncheon fundraiser at 12 p.m.  Friday at Sperreng Middle School. Mia Gapsch attends the school.

She managed to escape the Aug. 27 basement fire near the intersection of Tesson Fire and St. Simon that killed 79-year-old Georgetta Gapsch, 38-year-old Terry Gapsch and 11-year-old Maci Gapsch.

A second charity event is planned for Friday afternoon at Sunset Lanes Bowling Alley. A $10 donation gets donors unlimited bowling and shoe rentals from 4 to 6 p.m.

Maci Gapsch also attended the middle school, which is holding its own fundraiser for the family on Saturday.

The Lindbergh Schools Foundation has also set up a drive to help raise money to support Mia. Anyone wishing to donate can click here or mail a check made payable to “Lindbergh Schools Foundation” to Lindbergh Schools Foundation, 4900 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, Mo 63126. The foundation asks people to write “Gapsch Family Fund” in the memo field.
