CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) -- A third member of the five-person St. Louis County Police Board has resigned amid an FBI investigation of a crime lab construction contract.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that business executive Raymond Wagner says he will leave the county board by late September. He is the husband of U.S. Rep. Ann Wagner, a first-term Ballwin Republican.

Board chairman Gregory Sansone resigned last week as county officials respond to federal subpoena for records involving a $3.7 million county subcontract awarded to a company he co-owns. The work involves heating and air conditioning installation at the new Clayton crime lab.

Board vice chairman Floyd Warmann resigned Aug. 1, citing an unspecified conflict of interest. Wagner says he’s leaving for unspecified personal and business obligations.
