(KMOV) – Authorities praised the quick action of a pair of good Samaritans in Wildwood who helped save a man’s life. They were honored Tuesday night for their heroics.
Doug Roberts and Jim Bledsoe were recognized by the Chief and Board of Directors of the Metro West Fire Protection District during Tuesday night’s board meeting and given special awards for their lifesaving efforts.
In September, the two men were at the Wildwood Family YMCA when a man suffered a major heart attack. Roberts and Bledsoe stepped in, performed CPR and used an AED to revive him before paramedics arrived on scene.
The victim, whole-heartedly believed these two men with the help of an AED, saved his life.
