(KMOV) – A Riverview man faces a slew of charges following an investigation prompted by a triple shooting that left one dead in late October.
Carl Kelley, 33, was charged Tuesday by the Circuit Attorney’s Office with first-degree murder, three counts of armed criminal action, and two counts of first-degree assault.
On Saturday, October 26, officers with the St. Louis Metropolitan police responded to a call in the early hours of the morning about a triple shooting in the 5800 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Drive.
Upon arrival, police reportedly discovered two victims lying in the street at Goodfellow and Dr. Martin Luther King suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
According to police, a third victim was found inside the vacant building also suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The third victim, identified as Byron Gallion, 38, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The two other victims were transported to an area hospital and were listed in stable condition.
A judge ordered Kelley be held without bond.
