Police searching for suspect in Warrenton Pizza Hut robbery

(KMOV.com) – Warrenton Police are investigating a robbery at the Pizza Hut located on Old Steinhagen Rd. At this time, no suspects are in custody.

According to reports, the robbery took place around 10 p.m. December 12.Police say that a white male with brown hair entered the restaurant as workers were closing the restaurant down for the night.

The suspect, described as 6-foot-5 and around 200 pounds with brown hair, approached the employees still at the restaurant. Employees say the suspect’s face was covered with a black bandanna. The man was reportedly wearing a dark-colored hoodie, black pants with a white stripe, and black-and-white tennis shoes.

The suspect told the workers he was armed with a gun and demanded money from the employees, according to Chief Greg Houdyshell. One employee consented, opened the safe and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect.

The suspect was last seen fleeing the scene in a newer model dark-colored Ford Mustang. Witnesses last saw the car speeding onto Highway 47.
