(KMOV) – Missouri is among the worst states when it comes to having bad drivers, according to a new study released by CarInsuranceComparison.com.
The website, which compares different insurance companies, says Missouri is 7th in the worst driver category.
The results were based on data in five categories: fatality rate, failure to obey, drunk driving, speeding tickets and careless driving.
The data was gathered from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the National Motorists Association and Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Louisiana tops the list as the state with the worst drivers. Illinois did not make the list.
