(KMOV.com) – Police said an argument over a dog in south St. Louis took an ugly turn Thursday.
Authorities said the incident started at a gas station at the intersection of Grand and Alberta when four suspects started arguing with the victim believing he stole their dog.
According to authorities, the victim and suspects got into a physical altercation, causing damage to the victim’s car. Police said a car window was broken.
Police said the victim then drove to St. Louis Police headquarters and was followed by the suspects. The victim said he heard gun shots in the vicinity of Tucker and Spruce.
According to police, the suspects fled after the shots were fired, but they were later caught and arrested in the 4000 block of Schiller.
The investigation is ongoing.
