(KMOV) – Police have released surveillance video and pictures of two suspects who robbed a woman while she was walking in Maplewood in late November.

The victim told police she was walking near Sunnen and Hanley carrying a shopping bag on Nov. 27 when she was approached by a man and girl.

Police say the man displayed a knife and demanded money, but the victim refused. Authorities say the man then punched the woman and she fell to the ground.

Police say he grabbed her bag – which contained a hat and shoes she had just purchased – along with her wallet and phone.

Both suspects then ran from the scene.

Police say the man is about 18 years old, has short dreadlocks and was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a scarf around his face. The female suspect was described as a juvenile wearing a purple and black checkered jacket with blue jeans and a scarf.

Police say investigators are reviewing surveillance video to help locate the suspects.
