NOGALES, Ariz. -- A Mexican national was arrested Monday at the Port of Nogales for attempting to smuggle nearly 1,900 pounds of marijuana into the United States.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers referred a 40-year-old resident of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, for an additional inspection of the Freightliner tractor-trailer he was driving into the Mariposa Commercial Facility.
