Police: Man arrested in fatal south St. Louis shooting that stemmed from narcotics deal

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) -- A St. Louis man was arrested and charged Monday in a shooting that killed one man and injured another.
Police said Samuel Vazquez-Gonzales, 18, of the 5500 block of Pennsylvania, shot and killed Brandon Gonzalez, 19, in a vacant home on Vermont Avenue Thursday morning. He also injured a 21-year-old man, who is expected to survive, police say.
Vazquez-Gonzales is charged with Murder 1st, Assault 1st, Assault 2nd, Attempt Robbery 1st, 2 counts of Robbery 1st and 6 counts of Armed Criminal Action against.
At the time, police said the shooting stemmed from a narcotics transaction.
