St. Louis, Mo. (KMOV) – An online company has released the best cities for small businesses.
Thumbtack.com conducted the survey which rated Colorado Springs, Boise, Houston, Austin and Louisville as the top rated cities for entrepreneurs. Sacramento, Providence, Buffalo, Bridgeport and San Diego were the lowest rated cities.
St. Louis received a grade of “C” for its small business friendliness, overall small business friendliness and for its training and networking programs. St. Louis also received poor marks for the ease of hiring new workers.
A local entrepreneur told News 4 he disagrees with the survey. He said the mayor’s office made it very easy for his company to get started in the area.
Thumbtack interviewed 12,000 entrepreneurs across the country for the survey.
