(KMOV) – Madison County officials say they are willing to help residents pay their electric bills.
The assistance is a part of the Summer Energy Assistance Program which offers up to $150 per family for payment of electric bills.
“If people want to sign up, what they do is they need to have proof of income for the past 30 days,” said Madison County Comm. Development Representative Peggy Dugar. “They also need a social security card and proof of age. With that, they can get assistance.”
