(KMOV) – A local woman is furious because she claims Missouri Family Services lost her teenage son.
Terena Radosh said her son, Jeramy, 14, has gone missing and the people responsible for taking care of him do not know where he is.
Radosh told News 4 her son was at the Susan Nuckols Treatment Facility in Hillsboro, a facility run by the Missouri Division of Family Services (DFS). She said Jeramy had been in state custody to stay out of trouble.
“I wanted him off the streets, that would be the best,” Radosh said.
Radosh said DFS officials did not contact her until several hours after Jeramy had escaped.
“They made excuses. They said they didn’t have my number,” Radosh said. “They told me he ran. That’s all they could say at the hearing.”
DFS officials declined to discuss the case because they said state law “prohibits releasing information specific to a case or individual.”
