St. Peters: Credit card thief caught on camera

News release from St. Peters Police

St. Peters, 11/24/09:  The St. Peters Police Department needs the public’s help in identifying a man who stole a wallet in a local restaurant, then charging over $5600.00 on the stolen credit cards within one hour of the theft.

The man is described as:

B/M, light-skinned

Approximately 40-45 years old

Short hair

Large build

Approximately 5’10” – 6’2”

Fresh cut on the back of his head

The suspect, with possible accomplices, stole a wallet from the victim’s purse at Ruby Tuesday’s on Mid Rivers Mall Drive on November 18th and within one hour, used three of the victim’s credit cards.  The credit cards were used at two different Walgreen’s locations in St. Peters. The suspect purchased over $5600.00 worth of American Express Gift Cards.
