ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- Police are looking for two armed robbers who hit a popular restaurant in the Central West End early Monday morning.

According to investigators, two employees were walking out of Culpeppers restaurant in the 300 block of North Euclid Avenue around 1:45 a.m. That's when police say the robbers pointed guns at the employees and forced them back inside the restaurant.

The robbers reportedly took $2,000 from a safe inside Culpeppers.

The thieves also took some alcohol.
