This morning Hazelwood investigators will have to get a court order to review a violent school bus attack. On Friday, a teenage boy is accused of attacking a female classmate on the bus ride home from school. Hazelwood administrators took swift action they suspended the student for attacking the girl. However, News Four has learned that the district denied a request to the Hazelwood Police department to get a copy of the tape. A district spokesperson tells us the video is an educational record. The spokesperson goes on to say that the district could lose federal funding if they release the tape without a court order. The school only allowed the victim's mother to watch the tape only after parents from both students signed waivers. So, what are your thoughts? Do you think the school district is going too far. Should the police have the rights to this video without a court order?
