Tuition Freeze Pleases High School Seniors

It appears for the second year in a row, Missouri's four year state colleges will not raise their tuition.  The state, in turn, is agreeing not to cut funding for those schools more than about five percent.

While that is a cut, it isn't as bad as it could be in this current economic climate.  I talked to several seniors at Cleveland ROTC High School in the St. Louis Public School District.  They were happy to hear about the freeze.

By the way, last year, graduating seniors in the SLPSD received forty million dollars in non-financial need, scholarship money.  Congratulations to the recipients.
