Senior wide receiver Danario Alexander was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Kansas State in Manhattan on Saturday.
Blaine Gabbert’s favorite (only?) target terrorized the Wildcat secondary to the tune of 10 catches for 200 yards and three touchdowns. This is the second time #81 has receiver this award, making him the first receiver to ever do so.
Despite his ridiculous performance so far this year, he is still not listed on most draft boards and was also snubbed by the Biletnikoff Award committee who somehow managed to make a list of the top 10 receivers in the nation and failed to mention Danario. I clearly don’t understand football (admittedly a very real possibility) if Alexander isn’t a successful NFL receiver
