(KMOV.com) -- An 18-year-old Cahokia, Illinois woman told police she suffered multiple injuries after her boyfriend beat her up at a Caseyville motel on Monday.

Authorities said Douglass Woolfolk, 22, is wanted for multiple felony charges related to the alleged attack.

The victim, Jasmine Smith, told police Woolfolk became angry at her and started beating her up.  She said he hit her in the face, pulled out her hair and kicked and scratched her.

Police found evidence in the hotel room consistent with Smith's claims.

After the incident, Smith was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries.  She was later released and placed in a safe house.

On Wednesday, St. Clair County Prosecutors issued warrants on Woolfolk for a slew of charges related to the attack.

Woolfolk has not yet been arrested and is considered to be dangerous. Anyone who has seen Woolfolk or know where he is encouraged to call authorities.
