ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Police are currently investigating after several vehicles and a house were shot at in south St. Louis City on Thursday morning.
Police were called to the 6800 block of Pennsylvania shortly before 2:30 a.m. after five vehicles and one house were struck by bullets.
There were no injuries reported, but one family says that a bullet was lodged in the wall less than a foot away from where a 6-onth-old baby was at the time.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a White Chevrolet Blazer.
The random act of violence in the neighborhood has residents frightened.
"I just can't stay in this neighborhood any longer. I really can't," Theresa Becker said. "When people are just driving down the streets just for fun to shoot out people's car windows or whatever they are doing, I don't understand what the point is."
Police have been on patrol in the area in both marked and unmarked cars.
