(KMOV) -- Power was knocked out in the Ferguson area after a woman attempted to run over a man, woman during an alleged domestic dispute Sunday night.
According to reports, the female suspect arrived at the male victim's house at 10:15 p.m. when the female victim showed up. The suspect then drove her car towards to the female victim, almost hitting her when the male came out of his house on the 200 block of S. Dade Avenue.
The female suspect changed direction and drove towards the man, who hid behind a power pole. The suspect drove right through the power pole, causing it to fall on top of her car.
Police say the suspect got out of her wrecked car and opened fire on the man. He was not injured.
The suspect was arrested on scene, formal charges are pending at this time.
Power was knocked out to about 50 homes for several hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
