(KMOV) – City officials issued a permit to the Occupy St. Louis protestors Friday afternoon so they can remain in Kiener Plaza past curfew, but protestors are not accepting the offer. The permit does not allow the protestors to sleep overnight in the park which protestors say is their right. On Thursday night, 15 protestors were arrested at Compton Hill Reservoir for breaking curfew.
Occupiers slept in Kiener Plaza for six weeks in 2011 before they were removed by city police.
One protestor says the group plans more demonstrations over Saturday and Sunday which includes using social media to get attention.
