EAST ST. LOUIS, Illinois (KMOV) –Police are asking for the public’s help bringing a rash of shootings to an end in East St. Louis.
Police believe 11 shootings the past week in the city are possibly connected. Eight of them have been drive-by shootings that have taken place since a shooting at Club 103 on Sunday.
East St. Louis Police gave News 4 surveillance video of two men who are considered persons of interest in that shooting. The video showed the two men leaving the club shortly after the shooting.
The shirt of one of the men reads “R.I.P. Dre.” Police say “Dre” was killed in December and believe one of the shootings may have been in retaliation for his death.
