Police expand search for missing Collinsville woman

(KMOV.com) -- Police in Collinsville, Illinois said they will launch an aerial search on Wednesday for a woman who was reported missing on March 8.
Jessie M. Williams, 30, was reported missing by her boyfriend on Thursday afternoon. The boyfriend told police that he last saw Williams around 2 a.m. on March 3 at her home. According to police, Williams has not made contact with anyone close to her since that time.
Williams' mother feels her daughter's disappearance is very unusual.
Lieutenant Dixon with Madison County Police said teams will search parts of Madison and St. Clair counties in Illinois today. Dixon said their investigation has led them to believe Williams may have gone to the East St. Louis area, but would not say why.
Police describe Williams as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 fee 8 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.
