Reward offered for information on St. Louis bank robbery suspect

(KMOV) -- Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank in south St. Louis on Tuesday.

Authorities said the suspect entered the Bank of America at 2604 S. Jefferson around 3:45 p.m. and gave the teller a note and verbally demanded money.

According to police, the suspect said he had a weapon but did not show one. He then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robber, seen in the picture above, is black male believed to be in his mid 30s. He is approximately 5' 9" and 150 pounds.  During the robbery he was wearing a newsboy hat, plaid shirt jacket over a yellow polo shirt, and blue jeans.

Crimestoppers will offer a reward up to $1000 for information leading to an arrest.
