Alton man killed after losing control of motorcycle

(KMOV) -- A man was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle late Tuesday afternoon in St. Charles.

According to police, this accident happened around 5 p.m. on eastbound Route H west of Barwise Road.

Ronald Goble, 48, of Alton, IL, was driving his 1999 Harley Davidson when he lost control and traveled off the right side of the road.

Emergency crews from Orchard Farm pronounced Goble dead at the scene.

Police have not determined what cause Goble to loose control of his motorcycle.
