FLORISSANT, Missouri (KMOV.com) – A Florissant man convicted and jailed in 2006 for using his roofing business to rip off customers is accused of pulling off the same illegal tactics.

Jason Leavy, 37, owns Accurate Construction Services.

St. Louis County Police said officers were called to Leavy’s house after two men claimed he owed them $9,000, but he wasn’t there. Police say Leavy also had an outstanding arrest warrant for stealing more than $8,000 from another Florissant woman, a class C felony.

“(He used an alias) as Jason Aragon. So if someone comes to your door calling himself Jason Aragon or Jason Leavy, call the cops immediately,” said one of his former employees, who wished to remain unanimous.

Police continue to search for Leavy.

The Better Business Bureau advises customers to use extreme caution when dealing with Leavy. They say to never pay upfront for a roofing job because Leavy takes customers’ cash without completing the work.

News 4 contacted Leavy for a response to the accusations. He said he's innocent of any wrong doing and is a victim of a misunderstanding.
