KIRKWOOD (KMOV) -- Six men were arrested on federal charges Friday for an alleged conspiracy to distribute drugs around the Meacham Park Neighborhood in Kirkwood, Missouri; police say they are searching for a seventh drug dealer who is allegedly involved.

The US Attorney's Office says, Chaz Alexander Baker, 32, Ervin J. Thompson, 28, Martez D. Jones, 39, Duan Drayton, 42, Marlowe Parsons, 38, of Kirkwood, Missouri and Kevin Ragland, 35, of Richmond Heights, Missouri were indicted February 8.

The charges include conspiracy to distribute in excess of 280 grams of crack cocaine, distribution of heroin, possession of firearms, and maintaining a drug invovled premises.

If convicted, these charges carry maximum penalties up to life in prison.  In determining the actual sentences, a Judge is required to consider the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines, which provide recommended sentencing ranges.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Kirkwood Police Department, and the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
